Role: Garden Maintenance Crew Leader with Design Opportunity
Start: April 21 2025
End: End of season (varies between October and November)
Wage: $24-$27/hour
Hours: Full time seasonal, 30-40 hours per week

We are seeking a moderately skilled Garden Maintenance Crew Leader to join our team. This role involves leading a small crew or working independently to provide excellent maintenance services for high-quality properties. Our clients value professionalism, efficiency, and meticulous attention to detail, and we pride ourselves on exceeding their expectations.
In addition to maintenance responsibilities, this position offers a flexible design component, allowing the crew leader to contribute to landscape design tasks such as site inventory, 3D modeling, and assisting with creative project planning. They will also have the opportunity to assist with garden installations on larger projects, collaborating with other contractors to complete landscape projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work independently and/or lead a small team in performing garden maintenance tasks, including pruning, weeding, mulching and occasional planting.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and clear
communication.
• Safely operate and maintain small tools and equipment such as hedge trimmers and leaf blowers.
• Safely operate a half ton pickup truck with a small dump trailer.
• Potentially contribute to design tasks such as site inventory documentation and 3D landscape modeling.
• Assist with garden installations on larger projects.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in garden maintenance or a related field.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate and drive a pickup truck with a small dump trailer.
• Basic proficiency in design tools or software, with an interest in contributing to creative projects.
• Experience or willingness to assist with garden installations.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Physical ability to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions.
