Wavescapes Design specializes in creating custom landscapes for residential and commercial properties across Ontario. Our team works with a wide range of clients—from DIY enthusiasts to high-profile homeowners who prefer a completely hands-off approach, and everyone in between.

Lyndsey Matheson
Founded and operated by Lyndsey, our business is rooted in a lifelong love for design and the outdoors. In her younger years she spent hours drafting layouts for houses and horse farms; a hobby that sparked her love for functional and creative design. This early interest grew through her high school years, where she excelled in art and drafting classes, and eventually led to formal education at Fanshawe College in both the Landscape Design and Horticulture Apprenticeship programs, turning her creativity and technical skills into a thriving career.
Now operating Wavescapes Design full-time, Lyndsey manages a team dedicated to garden maintenance, designs custom landscapes, and oversees installations. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her horses, spouse, and dog, living a lifestyle that reflects her connection to both the countryside and lake life. This lifelong passion for design and nature drives her dedication to creating outdoor spaces that are as thoughtful as they are beautiful.
Lyndsey was able to take our many ideas and turn them into concrete plans for our new front and back yard. We now feel confident and excited to move forward using the layouts she provided to us. We found her approach was creative as well as practical, and are so glad our neighbours recommended Lyndsey.
